In 1954, Walter Werner Fischer founded the company W. W. Fischer in a garage in Morges, Switzerland. An entrepreneur at heart, he recognized a customer need for rugged connectors and developed the first high-quality sealed connector, designed for use in industrial applications. Less than a decade later, he filed an international patent for his push-pull locking system and developed the world’s first hermetic connector.

A family before a company from the very beginning, Walter Werner Fischer, his son Peter and his wife Béatrice engaged a team of creative, passionate employees who strived for excellence. Together, they opened new manufacturing facilities and developed innovative products to meet growing customer demand.

Over the years, the company has continued to modernize production processes, invest in
