BNC HD True 75 ohm HDTV Connector Series

As the exclusive distributor of Radiall products, Rojone is proud to introduce the addition of the new BNC HD Connector.

The BNC HD connector’s technologically advanced design is available in a wide variety of colours, and its unique easy grip boot allows for high density integration without the use of a tool to plug or un-plug, making this high-definition BNC the best choice for all broadcast applications.

The new BNC HD connector features a two-part design that is quick and easy to assemble in the field using only a standard crimper, and the advanced True 75 ohms design features outstanding performance up to 6 GHz with exceptional return loss performance, and data rates up to 3 Gbps or higher while meeting or exceeding SMPTE 292M and 424M standards.

The robust mechanical properties make this connector ideal for rugged environments, and it is available for the most popular cables in the Broadcast market (Argosy, Belden, CAE, Draka and more). BNC HD is also available in Brass, R/A Plug and bulkhead versions.

New Lightning & Surge Protector Products Launched

Rojone Partner Times Microwave Systems has announced two new products within their Times Protect™ line of Lightning & Surge Protectors.

LP-GPX-05-T Series

The LP-GPX-05-T high performance series is an exceptional DC pass design for protection of GPS receivers requiring up to 5Vdc power to be supplied on the center pin. While the RF path is DC blocked, the biased DC voltage protection circuit uses Solid State protection technology to provide unsurpassed surge performance.

The LP-GPX-05-T series offers outstanding Insertion Loss and Return Loss characteristics over the 1000-2000MHz band, making it suitable for protection of commercial and military GPS, as well as other applications in this band.

Unlike competitive protectors, the white bronze plated construction of the LP-GPX-05-T series eliminates potential galvanic corrosion issues and provides long life in hostile environments. The fully weatherised housing is sealed to IP65 allowing for outdoor as well as indoor installation.

LP-GPX-05-T Series:

  • LP-GPX-05-TFF – TNC Female connectors on surge and protected sides – bidirectional
  • LP-GPX-05-TFM – TNC Male connector on one side & TNC Female connector on the other side – bidirectional

LP-BTRW Series

The Times Protect™ LP-BTRW high performance surge arrestor series addresses applications in the 20MHz-1000MHz spectrum. Unique DC blocking technology employed in this design provides optimum isolation of the antenna port from the protected equipment port for maximum surge protection. LP-BTRW surge protectors have exceptional RF performance and are constructed from the highest quality materials for unsurpassed durability and longevity. These units meet and surpass all applicable industry standards. The LP-BTRW product family is available with N connector configurations and fully weatherised to the IP67 standard for outdoor use.

LP-BTRW Series:

  • LP-BTRW-NFF – N Female connectors on surge and protected sides
  • LP-BTRW-NMP – N Male connector on protected side with N Female connector on surge side

The bidirectional filter based LP-GPX-05 protector with either a type N, TNC or SMA interface exhibits excellent insertion loss and return loss characteristics from 1000 to 2000 MHz.

The white bronze plating on the LP-GPX-05 protector eliminates potential galvanic corrosion issues and provides long life in hostile environments. The fully weatherised housing is rated to IP65 allowing for outdoor installations.

No solder right angle type N male crimp connector for LMR-600 cables

The -X NO-BRAID-TRIM Advantage™ connector product line has been expanded with the addition of the EZ-600-NMH-RA-X (3190-2639) no solder right angle type N male crimp connector for LMR-600 cables.

The EZ-600-NMH-RA-X connector has these advanced features and benefits:

  • Combination hex/knurl coupling nut
  • Tri-metal plating instead of silver (eliminates tarnishing)
  • Chamfered cable entry hole for ease of termination
  • Ridged landing area on the aft end for better grip and sealing of the heat shrink boot
  • Improved impedance matching for low VSWR
  • Cable can be stripped using the standard CST-600 cable prep tool
  • And no braid trimming required!

Times Protect LP-GTR Lightning & Surge Protection Products

The Times-Protect™ LP-GTR series of DC pass RF lightning and surge protection products has been further expanded for higher power handling needs.  With the addition of the LP-GTR-N-35 series, the entire product range with either the type N or 716DIN interface will now handle 50, 210 or 550 watts.  Designed to pass DC for applications requiring power to be supplied to the electronics, the LP-GTR series is the perfect protection solution for distributed antenna systems and tower mounted electronics. The LP-GTR product family is IP67 rated, bidirectional, suitable for outdoor as well as indoor installations and includes a universal grounding bracket. The N connector designs cover the entire frequency spectrum from DC through 3000MHz while the 716 DIN types can be used from DC through 2500MHz.
