Cable Connector and Lightning Protector in One!
The Times Protect® LP-18-400-N series is an exceptional in-line broadband DC pass surge protection design incorporating lightning protection circuitry and the EZ-400-X series crimp style connector interface unit. This combination allowing the in-line surge protector to be attached directly to the LMR®-400 cable eliminates the cable connector needed when using conventional lightning protectors. The LP-18-400-N series protectors exhibit outstanding RF performance over the entire frequency spectrum from DC through 6000MHz and the elimination of the extra connector further reduces return loss, insertion loss and lowers cost. In addition, its fully weatherised housing meets the IP-67 standard for outdoor as well as indoor installation.

The LP-18-400-N series protectors install easily onto LMR®-400 cable using the standard CST-400 prep tool and either the CT-400/300 crimp tool or the HX-4 crimp handle with the Y1719 (0.429”) hex dies.
Times-Protect® LP-GTV-N Series
Times Microwave Systems introduces the new Times-Protect® LP-GTV-N series of DC pass RF lightning and surge protection products with an extended frequency operating band from DC to 7000MHz. This new bidirectional design with N type female/female or female/male connectors handles up to 150 watts of RF power and allows for up 72 volts of DC voltage to be supplied on the center pin of the coaxial cable.
The LP-GTV-N series is the perfect RF equipment protection solution for any application requiring DC voltage and current to power tower top mounted electronics. The LP-GTV-N product family is IP67 rated, suitable for outdoor as well as indoor installations and its white bronze plated housing ensures durability and long life.

Times Microwave Systems has introduced its new, innovative Times-Protect™ line of surge and lightning protection products. These unique surge protection devices address applications throughout the entire useful RF frequency range from DC with capability up to and including 6 GHz.

LP-STR Series 800 MHz – 2500 MHz (DIN and N connector configurations), excellent passive intermodulation (PIM) performance, outstanding IL/RL characteristics, DC blocked for superior surge performance, high surge current rating, Broadband multi-strike design, high power rating over the entire frequency band & fully weatherised housing to IP67 standard.

LP-GPX-05 Series now available with a type N, SMA, or TNC interface. Return loss characteristics from 1000 to 2000 MHz. Exceptional DC pass designs protect GPS receivers requiring up to 5Vdc power to be supplied on the center pin for L1, L2 and L3 bands. Fully weatherised housing is rated to IP65 allowing for outdoor installations.
LP-GPX-T Series offers outstanding Insertion Loss and Return Loss characteristics over the 1000-2000MHz band, making it suitable for protection of commercial and military GPS, as well as other applications in this band. Fully weatherised housing is rated to IP65 allowing for outdoor installations.
